I hope you all enjoyed the end of your summer. Fall is an interesting time on the Monterey Peninsula. The kids go back to school and the tourism season slows down after Labor Day weekend. The summer fog let’s up a bit and suddenly there is more time to play!
So, it was my sister’s 29th birthday last night. She decided to throw a gathering our family’s beach house and because of that my Mom left and treated her self to a room at the iconic Post Ranch Inn. I happened to have a free schedule today so I decided to tag along!
The last time I stayed at Post Ranch was my 27th birthday. I was absolutely blown away by the magestic place! ✨I loved the fully stocked mini bar. The jade pool was amazing. The morning buffet breakfast at Sierra Mar (their on site restaurant) was to die for.
This time I was equally pleased (even though I just stayed for the day)!!
So my mom’s room was on the east side. It was a darling little room with its own fireplace, lots of wood, slate, and metal materials. We didn’t spend much time in the room. We mainly chilled at the jade pool all day. It’s over looks
the Pacific to the south. As the name implies it’s lined with rocks and some of them are Big Sur jade. It’s also heated. So nice :)
After relaxing, sunbathing and snacking for a few hours, we decided to check out the property mercantile. The Post Ranch mercantile is a former stockist of CWD. Gosh so many cute goodies there and the sales associate is such a doll. So after a couple of other dips in the other pools on the property I called it a day and drove back to town. Thanks to my mom and PRI for my special day and fun new memories and photos !! Xoxo
’Til next time ! ✌🏼✨
